Refrigeration driven by design since 1962.

U-Line Corporation was founded in 1962 by Henry Uihlein, Sr. as an outgrowth of Ben-Hur Freezers. Uihlein developed and patented an automatic stand-alone undercounter residential ice maker, establishing a product category that became central to the U-Line identity.

Over the following decades, U-Line expanded from residential ice making into undercounter refrigeration, beverage storage and wine preservation. The company developed through three generations of Uihlein family leadership before becoming part of the Middleby family of brands in 2014.

U-Line continues to emphasize American design, engineering and assembly across much of its residential refrigeration portfolio, with longstanding manufacturing heritage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you approve the repair, the service call and diagnostic are waived. Where appropriate, appliance operation is checked after repair work is completed. Qualifying repairs include a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
